We just want to put it out there once again that we are so lucky to have the best fans in the world! We are constantly reminded of this at each of our shows! We know all too well that if it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Well…..we could play the same tunes in the same places but, it would be boring as hell!! Thank you so much for another great year! We’ve had a blast hanging out with you and we look forward to having a drink with you (21 & over please) at a show sometime soon! Like at The Eagles Club in Bozeman on Friday, December 30th and Saturday, December 31st!! Hint, hint….shameless, we know! We love ya! Happy 2012!!!

New Chapters

Some of you may already know and some may not. Yes, it’s true. Josh has moved on to another chapter in his life and will no longer be a part of 10/80. He will always be a member of our family and welcome to grab his guitar and hop up on stage with us! Josh has been a member of Ten Foot Tall & 80 Proof for the past 5 1/2 years since it’s inception and will be missed. That being said, we are very psyched for him and totally support his decision to step away and enjoy other aspects of life in Montana. We remain close friends and will always look fondly on the time we got to spend picking, singing, laughing, writing and rolling our way around the country together. Thanks Josh! We love you man and we’ll see you sooner than later.

Josh’s new chapter obviously marks a new chapter for the rest of us as well. Ten Foot Tall & 80 Proof isn’t going anywhere folks. Kris, Aaron, Preston & Jim will press on as a four piece and keep the 10/80 train rollin’. We’re taking a little break until October 29th when we will crank it up for a Halloween Costume party at The Longhorn Saloon on Hebgen Lake. In November we will be playing around the Bozeman/Livingston area more than we have in quite a while & we’re crazy excited for that!! Check out our schedule for a show near you. S.L.A.M. Festival

(Support Local Artists and Musicians) Festival. This weekend, August 6th & 7th in Bozeman, Montana at Bogert Park!

S.L.A.M is a not-for-profit Festival dedicated to showcasing the local talent of the state. It is open only to Montana residents. S.L.A.M. will showcase 50 artists and 15 food vendors from around the state.

The S.L.A.M Festival is focused on increasing awareness and promoting the arts in Montana in a manner that enriches and involves the community. This event is sure to become one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Montana!

The Festival will consist of a juried artist market, music, dance and theater performances, children’s activities, beer garden and dining options.

Admission to the S.L.A.M. Festival is free to the public, enabling all members of the community of any income level to enjoy the plethora of artistic talent in Montana. Any revenue generated from this Festival will be reinvested in programs and projects that promote the arts in our communities throughout the state of Montana.

Red Ants Pants Music Festival

Next weekend, July 29th – 31st, we’re psyched to be a part of an amazing musical line-up of legends such as; Lyle Lovett & His Large Band, Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, Rodney Crowell and many more!! Is it June Already?

Even though springtime in Montana is always longer than normal, this year is crazy!! However, despite the gloomy weather, we are pumped for a great summer of playing music and hanging out with our friends/fans and making new ones! Check out our calendar to the right for a show near you! There are a couple a big ones this year and a whole hell of a lot of fun ones! The 4th Annual Headwaters Country Jam is June 23rd, 24th & 25th at The Bridge near Three Forks, MT. We’ll be playing two shows on Friday, June 24th. At 4pm we’ll be rocking the main stage. This is always a treat for us and we’re psyched to be able to share the stage with some of the greatest acts in country music. At midnight Friday night, we’ll be cranking it up to “11″ on the upper (party) stage right after Little Texas gets done melting your faces off! Saturday, July 30th we’re fortunate enough to be a part another kick ass festival! The 2011 Red Ants Pants Fest. We’ll be kicking it all off at noon and starting the buildup for one of our favorite musicians on the planet!! …..wait for it….wait for it……Lyle friggin Lovett and His Large Band!!! We would just like to thank everyone that came out to our first annual “Cabin Fever Reliever” this past Saturday night! What a time! We are constantly elated at the outpouring of support for live music in Bozeman! Congratulations to Nancy for winning the grand prize embroidered Carhartt jacket!
